Church Wedding Decorations

wedding decorations

Pretty much all churches look the same on the inside, they all have a aisle, usually stained glass windows and a space at the front where you will be married. Many couples choose to decorate the church, they want to make it look different to the way it looks when they go for Sunday service. This article on church wedding decorations will hopefully give you some ideas on how to decorate the church on your wedding day.

Church Wedding Decorations - Ideas

Some of the most simplest church wedding decorations are the most effective. For example buy a roll of 12 inch wide organza and tie it in loose bows at the end of each pew. This is a cheap and effective way of incorporating your wedding colours into your church venue.

If you have a wedding theme you could use something to represent it, tied to the pew with ribbon or organza. For example if you were having a Christmas wedding, why not use baubles attached with ribbon.

Flowers are the most obvious choice for church wedding decorations, but they can be expensive, so if you have a small budget opt for silk flowers and make your own arrangement.

You may also be allowed to use candles to enhance the aisle as church wedding decorations but please make sure that they are safe and won't easily be knocked over.

How about blown up photographs of yourselves that have a general romantic feel. Your wedding day is about showing how much you love each other and it will be nice for your guests to see how much you were in love back then as they watch you tie the knot.

Church wedding decorations can be any thing that you want them to be, it's down to your own style and of course what ever your vicar / priest will agree to!
